All of these projects were sourced using boards from our two reclaimed wood collections: Historic Plank Collection and Thoroughbred Oak Collection. Read more below on the stories behind the wood.
Historic Plank products are reclaimed from the siding and timbers of barns and other antique structures throughout the United States. Instead of this wood going into burn piles and crowding up landfills, we give these boards new life by repurposing them into products such as wallboard paneling and hardwood flooring.
Our weathered barnwood comes from decades old thoroughbred horse farms, old tobacco barns, and rural structures across our North American heartland. The grain designs, saw marks, and character marks are waiting to add to the story of your customers’ home, office, restaurant, or any other creative space they’re dreaming up.
This beautiful wood is perfect for floors, walls, range hoods, headboards – the possibilities are endless!
Thoroughbred Oak products are sourced from thousands of miles of fencing throughout the heart of horse country.
From Triple Crown winners such as American Pharoah to the rookie horses trying to make a name for themselves, the passion and beauty in the horse industry is unparalleled. The heart of horse country resonates across the world, from Japan to Switzerland, from Dubai to New York and all the way back to the center of it all right here in Lexington, Kentucky. And we love bringing that story to your customers’ space.
The character of these timbers are extremely unique as they are exposed to the elements but also to the rubbing and chewing of the horses who live within them. These products make amazing floors, walls, tray ceilings – just about anything your customers can dream up.
